Unclipped ($5.00) dust jacket shows mild wear. Light edge wear, particular to spine ends and corners. Two tears - vertical tape repaired to the spine at the sides with a few light chips. Mild spine toning. Handling and shelf wear minor. Protected in archival mylar.

Hardcover: Very Good

Viking, 1939. Book is tight, square and firm with a very faint lean. Mild handling wear present. Corners mostly quite sharp, lightly rubbed as well as panel edges. Hinge exposure at last page gutter. Minimal toning to page edges, particular to top text block. Mild pulling from the spine crown. Light curling to spine ends. Sans for name erasure to flyleaf - Interior clean and unmarked. Perhaps respectfully read.
