Based in Portland, Oregon, RED FOX RARE BOOKS is a boutique online bookstore owned and operated by book collector and rare book dealer, Timothy Wheeler. As a proficient Book Scout and Collector, he has a knack for sleuthing and offering uncommon First Editions; from classics, “high points” in literature and fiction, science fiction, cult-classics, books-to-film, advance reading copies, uncorrected proofs, review materials, signed or limited editions, the occasional ephemera and a standard of mostly modern First Editions.
His fire to collect was lit with collecting baseball cards as a kid. Inspired later by his favorite authors, he decided to scout for the original books of authors he loved to read like; Hunter S. Thompson, Charles Bukowski, Thomas Pynchon, Cormac McCarthy - to name just a few. He loves finding books kept in incredible condition, especially those with high demand and terrific book design and dust jacket art.
